2023-2027.          Deepening Computational Thinking for English Learners by Integrating Community-Based Environmental Literacy.

                                    In collaboration with the Montebello Unified School District, Santa Ana Unified School District, and El Sol Science and Arts
                                   Academy to design and implement elementary school computer science curriculum integrated with community-based
                                   environmental literacy 

2022-Current     Elementary Computing for All (NSF Funded) (University of California, Irvine)
                                    Postdoctoral Scholar 
                                    Directed by Dr. Mark Warschauer in collaboration with the University of Chicago, Santa Ana Unified School District,          
                                    Montebello Unified School District, and Fullerton School District to design and implement elementary school computer
                                   science  education program to improve computational  thinking and literacy


 2020.                      Distance Learning and Educational Equity in the Wake of COVID-19 (University of Southern California)
                                    Research Assistant
                                    Directed by Dr. Hernan Galperin and Dr. Stephen Aguilar in Collaboration with Great                       
                                    Public Schools Now. Collaborated with the Great Public Schools Now partnership to design and  
                                    conduct surveys to LAUSD families.


 2018-2019         Advancing Middle School Teachers’ Understanding of Proportional Reasoning for Teaching (IES Funded) (University of Southern
                               California)
                                   Research Assistant 
                                   Directed. by Dr. Yasemin Copur-Gencturk. Worked as a collaborative team to design an online professional development
                                   modules to test train middle school math teachers to develop proportional reasoning.

2016-2018                  Computer Science Education for Students with Disabilities (STEM 3 Academy)
                                           Mentor Teacher, Computer Science & Math Department Chair
                                           Directed projects to develop and train teachers in K-2 computer science curriculum, targeting the needs of students with autism and social 
                                           and emotional disabilities
